Where I’ve Been Well, it’s been awhile. Seven months and 29 days to be exact. Needless to say, a lot has changed since I have chosen to be present online. New apartment, new jobs for both my husband and me, new glasses…you get the point. While I have been away I was refueling and recovering and am now fully ready to get back to creating and writing and maybe even start doing some music here and there (which if you know me at all, you know music is a huge part of my life). I originally wrote out a whole long post about why I decided to take a break, but I am now just going to keep this…

Disney 2017: Hollywood Studios

Disney 2017: Hollywood Studios

Somehow we have already made it to the end of this Disney series! I can’t believe this is the end, but I have shared all my photos and videos and now it is over. Kind of sad because now it is like I have fully had to say goodbye to Disney for this trip, until next time Mickey. Now onto the stuff about Disney’s smallest park.   Rides and Attractions Some of favorite rides are in Hollywood Studios! I was able to ride the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the Great Movie Ride, and watch the Muppets 3D show. Those were all the repeats and I loved them all yet again! I know I had rode Star Tours a …

Disney 2017: Animal Kingdom

Disney 2017: Animal Kingdom

I have been trying to write an introduction about this park and pretty much can’t think of anything other than there is so many animals! So instead I want to mention here how BEAUTIFUL the weather was over our entire trip! We had no rain at all. I think it rained one night, but only because we woke up and the sidewalks and grass seemed extra wet one morning. Other than that, we mostly had sunny and 85. It was truly a treat. Now onto the animals.   Rides and Attractions So I am obsessed with animals, so animal kingdom is pretty much my happy place. It is like a zoo and theme park in one! We were able to&…

Disney 2017: Epcot

Disney 2017: Epcot

Onto sharing more about Disney, with my favorite park: Epcot! Lucky for me too it was the flower and garden festival so there was way more amazing sights and therefore I had lots of fun with my camera :). So onto pretty petals, world travels, and so much yummy food!   Rides and Attractions So Epcot doesn’t have a ton of rides, but it does have some of the coolest! I went on so many rides for the first time this trip too! The only ride I went on that I had gone on before was the Universe of Energy. I was so excited to finally ride Soarin’ for the first time–yes, really. It was so cool and I …

Disney 2017: Magic Kingdom

It’s time to share all the fun things I did in Disney! I will be sharing our vacation focused in each park, one per day, through the weekend. I am so excited to finally share some of our experience along with all of the rides, attractions, shows, food, and scenery along the way. Of course we started in the most magical of parks and it was oh so enjoyable! Here is a piece of what we did there 🙂   Rides and Attractions I was super fortunate to hit most of my favorites this trip! It all started with Peter Pan, one of my favorites. This is one of the few rides I remember from my first trip to Disney …

Sterling the Bengal Six Month Update

Sterling the Bengal Six Month Update

Sterling our cutest ever silver bengal kitten is already six months old! What is even crazier than that is that he has been home for nearly four months already. The time has gone by so fast and he has changed so much! He has a new eating pattern, he got sick for the first time, and is always finding strange places to get stuck in. Plus we have been adventuring outside with him on our deck and just once with him outside on a leash. To see him helplessly flail while on a leash outside, be sure to check out the video at the end of this post!   Eating So Sterling has been a picky eater from day one. …

Six Months Of Marriage!

Six Months Of Marriage!

Holy cow, in just four short days I will have been married for SIX months. I know that isn’t too long, but time has flown and I can’t believe we have been married for half a year! Pretty soon here we will have been together for six years. Like really though, where does the time go!?   Married Life The main difference in lifestyle for Kyle and I after marriage was living together! Well, we actually started living together two months before the wedding because that is just when our leases were both up, but still. We had been together for over five years and had always lived apart, so to be under one roof was definitely a …

This is shortest post ever, but I bought this remote for my camera and I hadn’t used it yet…until today. It is seriously so useful and I had way too much fun! Here are six of my favorites, plus there is one in the sidebar. So I suppose that’s seven! Anyways, I took these photos to update my social media and finally write my about me page. To read a little bit about my life or just to see a bunch of pictures, be sure to check it out!

Chasing My Dreams

Chasing My Dreams

I have been in the funkiest of funks lately. I have analyzed my life and had difficulty finding answers. What have I accomplished? What do I want to accomplish still? How can I make my life better? What are my dreams? Where I am going? How will I get there? Although I don’t know the answers to all of those questions, I do know that I have dreams, many of which I have been hesitant to pursue for many, many years. Then about eight or so months ago I stumbled upon this quote: …and then I started this blog, created two YouTube channels, and got to work pumping out content. But let’s back up for a second. I …

Meet Sterling!!!

Meet Sterling!!!

Meet Sterling! It is safe to say that since Sterling (our silver bengal kitten) entered our home our lives have been flipped upside down. He is every bit as crazy as a kitten should be times 100. That comes with the breed of course, and I knew this going in, and totally thought I was prepared, but boy was I wrong. Now don’t get me wrong, he sleeps a ton, is cuter than sin, and loves to play on his own, yet he is the biggest spaz of a cat I have ever met–and I absolutely love it!   Bringing Him Home We arrived at our breeder’s home on a crisp Saturday morning and were greeted with the …

Preparing for Kitty

Preparing for Kitty

Kyle and I are so excited to be bringing home our kitten within the next 2-3 weeks, and we have been buying all the things we will need to make our little guy happy! We have a name picked out, but are keeping it on the down low until he comes into our home 🙂 For those of you who may not be all caught up on the kitten business he is a silver bengal kitten and he was born on August 20th and he is just the cutest dang thing I have ever seen! There has been a lot we have had to buy in order to prepare for his homecoming. We started by getting all of the essentials…

Fall Hikes

Fall Hikes

Lately I have been trying to get back on the healthy train–eating right, exercising, drinking tons of water, just all of the usual stuff. As a result of this and the cooler temperatures we have been experiencing, my husband and I have been going on more hikes than usual. It’s been so fun and fabulous and lately so FALL. In addition hikes are an amazingly fun way to get in some exercise for your day! I particularly love going to this trail because there is a flat trail that runs parallel with the river in addition to a hilly, more intense trail that goes through the woods. Oh and it’s only ten minutes from my house, which …

Favorite Wedding Photos!!!

There are no words for how ecstatic I am to be doing this little post! My wedding photos came in this weekend and they are just absolutely STUNNING! Now disclaimer, I am just sharing the prettiest and funnest images to me, so a lot of the reception and the ceremony and family shots aren’t in here–but they were all great too! All photo creds go to the wonderful and amazing Tori Radick of Meagan Nicole Photography. (click either of those links to get the deets) I don’t even feel like writing anymore words because these photos speak for themselves. Enjoy 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this small sampling of wedding photos, and I would highly recommend checking out …

Moving On

Moving On

Some of my favorite posts to create are when I just write down my feelings and life events. I enjoy doing this periodically so that someday I can look back and reflect on how much has changed and where I have come from. It has been a long time since I have written a post solely on my thoughts and life, so here it is. Since graduating college last December, I feel as though I have been living in an in between. I was engaged so I was wedding planning and didn’t want the pressure of a full time job, so I stayed part time at the restaurant I had been working at for a year and eventually got …

St. Maarten – Dawn Beach

St. Maarten – Dawn Beach

Welcome to the fifth and final post about our honeymoon! It has been so fun to look back and share all of these memories, and it’s already been a month since this all happened! The time has gone by so fast and I seriously can’t believe it! I don’t have much to say in this post other than a little bit about the beach near where we stayed. The beach was Dawn Beach and it was quiet, nearly empty, and beautiful. I was so grateful that the beach wasn’t overcrowded or full, and I think this was definitely a benefit to not staying in a resort heavy area of the island. There were only three hotels …

St. Maarten – Sunset Dinner Cruise

St. Maarten – Sunset Dinner Cruise

Our dinner cruise while on our honeymoon in St. Maarten was probably one of the most relaxing things we did all vacation! There were also a ton of unique experiences and sights we were able to have while we sailed…read on for more about that. We arrived at the marina only a few minutes early, but still early enough! We took our shoes off, got onto our boat, and took a seat along with a ton of other people. I say a ton, but what I really mean, is about twenty people or so. Oh and the CUTEST two year old ever. She didn’t cry for more than like a minute one time either. She was just such …
