Six Months Of Marriage!

Holy cow, in just four short days I will have been married for SIX months. I know that isn’t too long, but time has flown and I can’t believe we have been married for half a year! Pretty soon here we will have been together for six years. Like really though, where does the time go!?   Married Life The main difference in lifestyle for Kyle and I after marriage was living together! Well, we actually started living together two months before the wedding because that is just when our leases were both up, but still. We had been together for over five years and had always lived apart, so to be under one roof was definitely a huge adjustment,…

4 Easy Paper Heart DIYs

If you are anything like me you love to decorate and change up your decor for every holiday and season. So I came up with some cute crafts to do that are super cheap! All I used for all of the crafts below was construction paper, string, mod podge, scissors, a hole puncher, and a heart shaped puncher. Since I like to craft from time to time, all I actually had to buy was the construction paper. These made for some fun, cute, and cheap decorations!   Heart Punched Paper Chain For this paper chain you will need white, pink, and red construction paper as well as a heart puncher. Because I already had one, I used a 5/8″ heart puncher that…

Mango Kale Smoothie

Back at it again with another healthy breakfast. The good news is, not only are these recipes delicious, but I have actually been eating them and sticking to my health goals so far this year! Woo! Anyways, this mango kale smoothie is a quick, healthy, and yummy way to start your day. Here are six of my favorites, plus there is one in the sidebar. So I suppose that’s seven! Anyways, I took these photos to update my social media and finally write my about me page. To read a little bit about my life or just to see a bunch of pictures, be sure to check it out!

Strawberry Greek Yogurt Chia Bowl

Strawberry Greek Yogurt Chia Bowl

This yummy breakfast (like most of my recipes) was a happy accident one morning when we were out of eggs, bread, and cereal, so I needed to find something else to fill me. So I went to the fridge, grabbed some yogurt, topped it with some strawberries, a Mamma Chia packet, and granola, and it became one of my favorite breakfasts! I love this breakfast because it is quick, easy, and packed with nutrition. This recipe calls for a Mamma Chia packet, which can be found in the organic section of most grocery stores (or by clicking here on Amazon), but plain chia seeds will work just fine as well! If using plain chia seeds be sure to let them sit…
